The Sales/Marketing Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will partner with the Global Sales Operations, Global Marketing Operations and related business teams teams to ensure delivery of applications aligned to the business and IT strategy, as well as the support of those applications. This BSA will work with relevant business groups (including Sales Operations) to define their global IT requirements and to analyze appropriate solutions, and will manage projects from inception to completion with matrix, global teams.


Business Requirements Analysis
*Participates in requirements gathering by documenting requirements, process models and functional designs

Process Modeling and Design
*Participates in process modeling projects by documenting requirements, process models and functional designs, using appropriate business process tools and methodologies

Stakeholder Management
*Participates in stakeholder communications preparation and execution, status reporting by preparing materials, facilitating sessions and documenting outcomes

Solution Design
*Participates in solution design and documentation, in collaboration with project and business teams

*Documents project deliverables in collaboration with BSAs, technical teams and business users

Functional Design
*Develops functional designs for enhancements
*Applies business and technology skills to deliver designs in line with business expectations

Testing & Test Design
*Understands the business problem and technical design, and develops test cases in alignment
*Collaborates with senior BSAs and technical team to develop test cases

Project Management
*Manages end-to-end delivery of enhancements
Plans the delivery cycle in line with release goals

System Configurations
*Designs optimal systems configurations for enhancements

Day to Day Support (Production Support)
*Triages and troubleshoots first level tickets
Provides training and guidance for recurring training issues
*Compiles operational support reporting

Training and Change Management
*Provides support in creating and maintaining materials for SME training

Vendor Management
*Assists vendor resources with onboarding activities through all Equinix channels: email, laptop, access to systems, workspace, etc.

Vendor & Application Technology Evaluation
*Conducts analysis on vendor and application options, i.e., Magic Quadrant, as a key input to selection cycles
*Assists in building RFP documentation and selection criteria tools

*Build productive relationships with a global IT team, including BSAs, developers & DBAs
*Own the functional design of solutions that support Sales Operations and Marketing, and interface with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Channel, Legal and other teams as needed
*Drive a cross-functional and integrated approach to Sales, Marketing and Customer solutions within Equinix
*Translate business requirements into system solutions
*Analyze and determine application and interface solutions
*Design and develop complex reports as needed
*Evaluate, implement, integrate and support SaaS applications
*Interface with relevant teams to support day-to-day systems and interfaces issues related to existing Marketing solutions
*Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation or simplification
*Provide training and mentoring to business and IT team members
*Assist in System Portfolio Management and Strategic Roadmap
*May perform other duties as assigned

*Bachelor’s degree
*3 or more years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst role supporting business units globally
*Strong analytical skills in analyzing complex problems, processes, and systems to propose solutions
*Great business facing skills, understanding of sales and marketing business needs that drive systems requirements
*Adept at grasping business needs and placing those within the context of multiple SaaS applications with potentially overlapping capabilities
*Design and implementation experience across and related systems a plus. Hands-on solution building, good data modeling experience, and cross-systems process modeling experience a strong plus
*Understanding of data quality and de-duplication strategies a plus
*Strong ability to design user centric applications
*Ability to drive business consensus and simplify processes and designs
*Ability to document interfaces and data flows
*Excellent written/verbal communication skills
*Ability to establish working relationships with personnel at all levels in the organization
*Ability to effectively manage confidentiality of information
*Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technology
*Experience with Project Management tools and methodology a plus
