2017 Poster Sessions : Automated Design Tools that Leverage User Recognition

Student Name : Kesler Tanner
Advisor : James A. Landay
Research Areas: Graphics/HCI
Abstract:
When it comes to web design, the average person can rapidly distinguish good design. How then might design tools leverage a person's ability to recognize good design rather than create it? In this research, we prototype new design tools for common design tasks and seek to understand the limits and strengths of a person's design perception.
