Smart phones are the most versatile mass-market computers that have been developed to date. While they inherit many of the security challenges of traditional personal computers, mobile platforms also present many opportunities for novel approaches to security. We present our recent work in the area of mobile security as well as current research directions.


Hristo Bojinov is a PhD candidate in Computer Science. His research focuses on mobile device security and web security. Prior to Stanford, Hristo spend several years in industry where he designed and managed the development of enterprise storage security appliances. Prior to that he spent time at Oracle developing servers that deliver business applications to mobile devices. Hristo has a M.S. from Stanford University and S.B. from MIT.
