2010 Poster Sessions : CMOS 60GHz Beamforming Circuit Design for Active Imaging Application

Abstract:
The 60GHz unlicensed band is promising for applications like high speed data transmission and mm wave imaging. Here, we plan to build a mm wave active imaging systems which can recover the depth information of 3D objects. Beamforming techniques will be used to increase the spatial resolution and reduce the signal interferences.

Bio:
Saihua Lin received his B.S degree (with honor) and M. S degree in EE Dept. of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He is currently perusing his PhD degree in EE Dept. of Stanford University. His research interests include wireless communication circuit design and RF/mm wave circuit design.
