Research Areas: Information Systems
Abstract:
In this work, we propose efficient algorithms (based on message passing) for matrix factorization. The problem of matrix factorization has applications in a wide variety of fields including sensor localization, collaborative filtering etc. We demonstrate the usefulness of the algorithm both analytical and empirically on real datasets.
