Student Name : Mazi Taghivand
Advisor : Ada Poon
Research Areas: Information Systems
Mazi Taghivand received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, in 2004 and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, in 2006. Currently, he is working towards the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA. Since 2006, he has been with Qualcomm Inc, designing RF/analog circuits mainly focusing on synthesizer’s building blocks for connectivity applications. he has more than 14 patents. His main research interests are in low noise wide range oscillators and ultralow power, and high data rate communication at 60 GHz.
