2016 Poster Sessions : Analysis of Charge Pump Cells for Energy Harvesting Systems

Abstract:
In energy harvesting systems, a charge pump is required to boost low input voltages to levels required by the rest of the system. This work analyzes the operation of individual charge pump cells to optimize the efficiency of charge pumps for applications with low input power. Parameters being considered include architecture of the charge pump, clock waveforms, and clock voltage.

Bio:
Stephanie Hsu is a Ph.D candidate in Professor Ada Poon's group in Electrical Engineering. Her research interests are in low power energy harvesting systems and sensing systems.
