We are excited to share a full-time opportunity for current Stanford seniors with computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or similarly quantitative backgrounds to join the growing team at Evergreen Statistical Trading!

This role would be a great fit for anyone who is passionate about being at the forefront of statistics/machine learning research and working in a collaborative, performance-oriented environment. As a quantitative researcher at Evergreen, you will be exposed to the exciting intersection of trading strategy development and technology systems architecture. You will have the opportunity to discover novel statistical methods and execute rigorous quantitative analysis to develop predictive, profitable trading models. You will also learn what it takes to design and operate a range of high-performing technology for both research and live trading.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or another related, highly quantitative field
Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in C++ or familiarity with another similar non-scripting programming language like Java
Strong understanding of data structures, probability, and statistics
Intellectual aptitude and ability for tackling complex problems with rigorous analytics and mathematical models through code
Growth-oriented and collaborative mindset; enjoys working within a team
Passion for research and discovery

Other helpful, related experience
Past internship or job experience in a trading research or general software development role is a plus
Advanced coursework in algorithms, statistics and machine learning, network programming or compilers
