About Us
Stanford Management Company, located on campus at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, invests Stanford University's endowment funds. The endowment provides critical financial support to current and future generations of students and scholars, supplying over one fifth of the University’s operating budget each year. We aim to preserve the endowment’s purchasing power in perpetuity by achieving high investment returns while taking an appropriate amount of risk. This very long-term view underpins our process of setting the endowment's asset allocation and selecting investments and investment managers across public and private equity, hedge funds, real estate, natural resources, and fixed income.

You will present in weekly investment team meetings, interact with investment managers, and help monitor existing investments. We will train you in financial modeling and due diligence techniques, teach you the fundamentals of asset allocation, and familiarize you with the process of selecting high- quality investment managers. You will receive training and mentorship from our entire team. Successful interns may be considered for full‐time analyst positions post- graduation.
