On Campus Interviews
The Recruiting Program provides on-campus interviews through the on line platform, Handshake, enabling employers to connect with interested students:
Post and submit your company's job descriptions for students
View and download resumes submitted by qualified candidates
Email requests and notify students of schedule changes
Pre-select candidates online for interview scheduling
Monitor your interview schedule
Interview schedules are defaulted to 30 minute interview duration. Please let us know if you would like this changed. You are free to choose any length or number of interviews for your schedule: 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes. Back-to-back interviews are available upon request.
NOTE: Computer Forum interviews are separate from interview days that your company may plan with Stanford Career Education.
Information Sessions
In the past, companies have held information sessions during the evening, as well as setting up tables in our lobby to meet students. Note that we can normally only schedule these events in the evening on Mondays through Thursdays at 5:00pm to 6:00pm or 6:30pm to 7:30pm when the conference room in the Gates or Packard Building is available. Pending availability, we also host 12:00pm to 1:00pm time slots. An additional fee is charged to cover costs incurred by the Computer Forum members for audio/visual needs, food service, clean-up of the reserved space, and other services.
Career Fairs
The Computer Forum Career Fairs are an excellent opportunity for your company to meet with our Stanford Computer Science and Electrical Engineering students face-to-face and make long-term connections. Career Fairs are held annually in October and January. Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (BS, MS, PhD) students looking for full-time positions and internships have the opportunity to meet with company representatives face-to-face, to directly submit resumes, and make long-term connections. We also host a Fall PhD career fair.
Company Tours
The Computer Forum invites affiliates to host Company Tours for Stanford CS & EE Students. The half-day visits are designed to educate students about the working environment, facilities, and staff at the affiliates Bay Area offices. The tours should focus upon careers, recruiting, technology, and technical presentations.
Jobs and Events Announcements
Job announcements can be posted to the Handshake system, which is open to the entire Stanford community. In addition, all job postings are posted to the Computer Forum recruiting mailing list, which is reserved exclusively for students in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Departments.
The Computer Forum can also advertise special company events through our mailing lists. Events include but are not limited to company open houses, networking events, meet & greets, etc.
Affiliates Job Board - It’s fast and easy to post your job to the Computer Forum’s Job Board and viewed by Stanford Computer Science and Electrical Engineering students. 90-day job posting limit with automatic deletion unless notified; please let us know if/when a job has been filled. You may post as many jobs as you wish. As an added benefit of being a member of the Computer Forum, all postings are FREE. Please send your job posting to forumstaff@cs.stanford.edu.
