Job Offer Policy

To give students enough time to make an informed and thoughtful decision, please give students the following minimum deadlines when accepting an offer:
- Summer 2024: If you would like to make an offer of a return internship or full-time employment to a student at the end of a summer internship, the student has until November 15, or 2 weeks from written offer (whichever is later)
- If offer is given during the Fall quarter 2024  students have until November 15, or 2 weeks from written offer (whichever is later) to decide.
- If offer is given during the Winter or Spring quarters 2025 for a Full -Time position or internship, students have 2 weeks to decide.

If an offer is made in 2024  for a Full-Time position or Internship position that will take place during the academic year for Winter 2026 , Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 quarter, the student has until November 15, 2025, or 2 weeks (whichever is later) after the student receives the offer in writing to decide.

If you experience any student-related issues regarding offers/reneges, please contact forumstaff@cs.stanfordedu and a member of our team will be happy to consult with you.

Employers who do not follow these guidelines increase the risk of student renege on offers, negative brand implications in the student community, and are subject to face restrictions on future participation in Campus Recruiting at Stanford.
